The Gable WP Leather Jacket from merlin features a 1.3-1.4mm tape seamed waterproof leather shell to keep you dry, a removable 125g thermal liner to keep you warm as the temperatures drop, and a full suite of D3O LP1 armor combined with a CE AAA certification so you know you're well protected. Rounding out the jacket are YKK locking waterproof zippers (leak prevention) and a jacket to jean zipper to help prevent any jacket riding up and letting water into your pants type scenarios.

Very nice high quality Leather Jacket

I purchased this for a winter jacket I can wear out down in rainy and cold Melbourne. The jacket is larger than it's competitors Alpinestars and Dainese, so I suggest trying it on somewhere if you can. It's warm and I'd say the vents will not do much in warmer weather. The side pockets on the front are entirely useless and the reason for the lost star, it's just simply not easy to unzip or reach into them with the firmness of the jacket, they would be better being removed. The arms are slightly longer which is fine, however due to the width of the sleeves it is hard to wear gauntlet gloves with the jacket. Overall I'm very happy, and the jacket met the brief of keeping me warm and safe (AAA rated), whilst still being able to wear it to my destination as a stylish and comfortable jacket.
