This family business began as an idea inspired when founder Paul Kittrell, Jr, started hand cutting custom motorcycle brake pads for AMA road racing buddies. At the same time, he worked for Porterfield Enterprise, Inc., an automotive brake company.
After learning about compounding high-performance friction materials for automotive race applications and then exposing them to the motorcycle industry with a great response, Paul decided to launch Lyndall Racing Brakes, LLC. Along with the help of his parents in 1998.
Lyndall Racing Brakes, LLC. Brought to the motorcycle industry, friction material compounds were previously only available for automotive racing.
Our passion for developing premium quality components inspired us to seek the most extreme environment known to power sports, the racetrack.
As a result, our designs are exposed to racing's rigorous environments as a theatre of validation for developing and proving our high-performance street offerings.
